OOTD: September Lane
Happy October!
I can't believe September is gone already. It went really fast this year, I swear. It's not that bad though, as now I can finally go back to uni and officially open the season of blankets, amaretto hot chocolates, candles and Halloween films - I am so ready for it.
These pictures were taken by my lovely friend A. (check out her lifestyle blog here!), when she came to visit and finally made it possible to shoot on my favourite little cobble/brick street, just off the campus. It was always my dream area for an outfit of the day and there it is :)
It was one of the early Autumn mornings, so it wasn't too chilly - I do enjoy the 'jacketless' temperatures a lot, when vests or gilets are still enough to keep you snuggly all day, and you don't have to wrap up in tons of layers yet.
Dress - random boutique
Faux fur vest - thrifted
Stone necklace - Grandma's
Thick tights - Primark
Backpack - thrifted
Chelsea boots - H&M
I've been into monochrome and simplicity a lot more lately (as you can tell from my previous OOTD), and this is as basic as I get.
This thick jersey dress has been one of my most worn pieces last month, as it is so plain, but so unique at the same time; I absolutely love the asymmetry, softness of the fabric and a tiny, hidden pocket on one side. I enjoy mixing up textures to make simple looks more stylish, so I added fur and leather. This black furry gilet and platform boots added a bit of toughness to the look, whereas the backpack kept the outfit really casual but quite refined as well - it made me look like a classy wanderlust.
I hope your September was great and you are moving forward with Autumn leaves now. Have a great start to the new month!
Kisses,
