Avon Planet Spa face masks review!

Summer is nearly over (*weap*), and our dehydrated, sunburned, dry faces need some treatment. What's the better way to treat you skin and make it soft, clean and plump, than apply a good old 10-minute face mask?

I am going to talk about three life changing masks from Avon Planet Spa range, that won't break your bank but will take good care of your skin, no matter what type of skin and complexion you have.

Let's start with a mud mask, as they never go out of fashion, but can sadly cost horrendous amounts of money. You don't need to spend thousands to get a good muddy cleanse though. This Perfectly Purifying face mask with Dead Sea Minerals might not be the purest 100% mud mask, but it still works wonders (and costs as little as a Starbucks Frappuccino).

It is very thick, but you don't need much of it to cover your whole face and neck - it spreads evenly and then dries completely, so you look like someone has thrown a bucket of fresh concrete on you.

The smell is quite interesting, very earthy and fresh, but not intense, as it does not linger on the skin afterwards. The best way to remove it is to wipe it off with a hot cloth - you get extra cleanse with that, as the pores open up and sink in the goodness of the mask even better!

I would reccomend this mask especially for people with normal/combination/oily skin, as it will get rid of all the dirt, oil and dead skin that causes breakouts, making your face look all smooth and glowy. As it can be a bit drying, I would advise those with very dry, sensitive skin to step away - I have other solutions for you;)

The Heavenly Hydration face mask with Olive Oil is a perfect product for girls struggling with dry patches, dehydration and dull looking skin. This mask has a slight, delicate olive scent and the consistency of a lightweight lotion. You can even leave it on for the night as a form of a deeply replenishing and moisturising treatment - I struggle with dry skin myself and this really brings my face back to life, so I can't reccomend it enough:)

Finally, a special Amazonian Treasures treat - a hydrating mask with acai and berries. It smells like Haribo or blueberry jelly and comes in a form of a thick, pink gel. It does not feel heavy on the skin at all, and leaves it glowing from within and smelling lovely. It is a perfect just-before-applying-makeup mask, as it gives that youth, fresh glow that will still show through the foundation. I would say it will work for any skin type, however if you skin is very sensitive and you break out easily, the heavy scented mask might not be for you.

I really hope you enjoyed reading my mini mask guide and perhaps chose one that is right for you.

I assure you, these are the perfect addition to a daily routine or just a weekend pamper evening :)

Love,
