Hello everybody!
Due to my camera problems and overall gloominess (lack of good lighting, grrrr!), I haven't been able to take proper photos for you guys, yet I was dying to share that outfit - throughout the month of October I have worn these pieces to death and I don't feel guilty at all.
This grey, cable knit cardigan is a perfect transition piece, as it keeps me warm enough to get to my lectures, but in the none 'sweating like a pig' style. It is quite plain and basic on its own, but due to its heavy, thick texture, it can be worn in many different ways, both with monochrome, as well as colourful garments.
Here I styled it with my favourite second-hand shop find of all time - this gorgeous, oversized t-shirt dress with a very dimmed rose pattern. Florals in Autumn seems like a weird combination that Miranda Priestly would not approve of, yet due to the very diffused green and pink tones, the dress looks incredibly well, layered with autumnal or even wintery pieces.
Once I had my base, I would just throw on some black accessories to toughen it up - my chunky chelsea boots I wear 24/7, a grungy, leather backpack and black opaque thights.
To make this look extra effortless and slightly geeky, I added a pair of glasses - and messy, straight out of bed hair, of course.
Let me know if you'd wear something like that in Autumn; maybe you have your own, go-to outfit you would put on every single day for a month if you could? Let me know! x
Kisses,
