On this slightly gloomy, cold British evening, I'm bringing Spring back with two shades of georgeous pastel blue, spruced up with some funky gold details.

Ever since I dug out this oversized, short sleeve blazer in one of my favourite second hand shops, I knew I had to style it for the Spring/Summer season, as the colour immediately reminds me of clouds, ice cream and warm weather in general.

First of all, it's a great alternative to long-sleeved blazers and jackets, as you can still make any outfit smarter and more structured, but your arms won't suffocate! Secondly, as any other blazer it can be dressed up or down - here I styled it in a very minimal, elegant way, but it would look amazing with a pair of black ripped skinnies or even shorts - if you keep with the pastel, light-coloured palette, you can create thousands of summery looks with this piece - both casual and going out ones.

I took the 'pastel colour palette' very seriously here, pairing the blazer with these gorgeous highwaisted trousers in a beautiful shade of sky blue. The simple, white t-shirt made the top and bottom blues blend in easier with a plain background. I wanted to keep it a daytime outfit, so I added tough black boots (it was still quite cold!) and a big bag that only enhanced my 'lady surgeon on a conference' look. To make it more interesting, I threw in a dainty gold pendant and some grandpa, gold-framed glasses that I am absolutely in love with - I've seen them on some youtubers, so at least I'm not the only freak who got completely into another stupid looking trend!

Will you be styling pastels and blues for the upcoming Spring and Summer time? Or maybe you are planning to stick to the good ole' black everything, just in t-shirts, dressed and shorts? Let me know!

:)

Sending you loads of sun and kisses,
