How is the summer going guys? Mine has been amazing this year due to all of the travelling I managed to do, from beautiful Bodrum to Open'er Festival, ending with a two-week holiday with all of my friends in a breathtaking seaside shithole. Sadly, that's the end of the summer excitement for me this year (bummer), but some of you may still have plans and gorgeous places to go to (where you have to LOOK gorgeous too) ! :)

Let me share with you a few bits and bobs that I used to death and loved this past two months; who knows, maybe you'll realise you are missing some staples in you washbags?

I'll start with body products, as they really come in handy when the weather is hot and your skin becomes tanned, and therefore can get dry and dehydrated.
Body butter is a must for me on a daily basis, but with this one smelling so heavenly I felt extra pampered and moisturised.
The golden oil was a buy I wasn't sure about first, but it ended up becoming a product I cannot live without anymore; it gives a sparkling glow to the skin, makes it nourished and silky smooth, and also complements the tan really well, giving you this greek goddess look every girl wants;)
Whenever my lips got chapped and dry from the sun (and it happened a lot!), I reached for my Lush lip scrub- it smells AND tastes lovely and gets rid of the dead skin from your lips, so they are smooth and kissable in no time!
Throughout my holidays in Turkey I kept stealing my Mom's perfume, as I absolutely fell in love with it- Madame has grenadine in it, which makes it fresh and fruity, but sweet at the same time. Go and smell it if you haven't yet, it's the ultimate summer fragrance.

I've been obsessed with highlighters this year in particular, as they look absolutely amazing on a tanned, freckled face I managed to achieve (on pale skin I have most of the time too, fortunately). I included a higher end one, as well as an affordable one with two different formulas- the Benefit cream highlighting stick gives a champagne glow to the cheekbones and stays on forever, however the powder one by Golden Rose works as a blush and highlighter in one, shaping the cheek and making it beam with subtle pink particles. I like having them both, one for special occasions and  the cheaper one for everyday:)

Finally, another discovery I made while I was still in the UK- Barry M gelly nail varnishes. With two coats only I managed to get a perfect, opaque and honestly salon-like finish. I kept the mint one on my toes for nearly two weeks and it did not chip at all! The snow white one looked beautiful with a tan and made painting my nails a bit less of a pain in the ass. Try this range if you can, it's worth the money and has a bunch of lovely colors ;)

That is it for today, hope I did not bore you to death ;) Have an amazing summer, it is not gone yet!

Kisses,
