OOTD: Crop top, cropped hair and Marilyn vibes

Surprise surprise, I chopped my hair off! Yes, that probably is something I should talk about, however I am going to start with a proper introduction.

These photos were taken by my lovely bff Asia outside a great Italian restaurant where we went to celebrate my 19th b-day (it was more than a month ago, lousy blogger attacks again!). The food there is divine so obviously we did a little shoot before eating in case my stomach would poke out (and it did, oh yes it did). This outfit is by all means the dressiest one I have ever posted but well, a birthday gal can wear whatever the hell she wants, am I right? When I was thinking what to wear, this skirt came to my mind and reminded me of Ms. Marilyn Monroe so I went ahead and created a modern look inspired by her iconic style- bodycon skirt, revealing the curves that she was reasonably proud of, cute little top, heels and naturally some cat eye glasses. The makeup came after putting it all together and for a Marilyn look I honestly cannot imagine wearing a different one. The hair at its new lenght could have been done better but unfortunately my tongs were unable to perform anything different from "messy curls". 

Onto the haircut now. After leaving high school for good (still can't believe it) I started to think about a hair change, as my dreamed and wanted long locks were getting tangled, damaged and generally digusting. I am also currently going through a severe case of PLL craze so the style was inspired by Hanna's short hair, which I absolutely love. I do not regret my decision and actually think it was one of the best ones I had made this year. It feels so fresh to have shorter hair, not to mention the comfort and a way more intriguing look than my old mop. Hopefully you will like the 'new me' as well, especially that it is only the first part of my change hihi!
