My Summer Favourites!

Bottle green crossbody bag - thrifted

Pointed ballet flats - thrifted (similar here)

Realising it's nearly October gives me chills and they ain't the good ones.

They are multiplying fairly quickly Travolta-style as this month progresses, so I thought I would bring back the vague memory of sweet summer bliss with things I loved using/wearing throughout July and August.

Starting with fashion, I've been embracing the minimalist aesthetic lately, with angelic whites during the day and my dear blacks for nights out. This dark, yet still providing that pop of subtle colour bottle green cross-body has proved to be a very classic, versatile piece that fits all of my essentials  easily, without looking like I've incompetently stolen something. Elegant and simple, it ticks all the boxes for me when it comes to a perfect small size bag.

So do these pointed flats, that made me fall in love with flat shoes and the way they present themselves on my feet. They elongate the leg beautifully and keep the top of your (still tanned) foot exposed, which is a very sexy and comfortable look for hot summer evenings. They are also as comfy as slippers and literally go with everything I have in my wardrobe - the real bomb.com, you guys. I highly recommend this style to any girl, who still thinks she can only be glamorous in heels - these will change your life for easier and less painful, trust me on that one.

Onto beauty products, I've been loving the new ck2 perfume by Calvin Klein. After years of using CK One and getting slightly bored with its strong unisex freshness, I happily switched to the newborn nr. 2, which still has the manly, peppery hint, but with a little help from violet, rose, mandarin and sandal wood, it's a perfect fragrance for a young and confident woman, who likes to blend in with the urban jungle and isn't all 'vanilla'.

Next up is a liquid matte lippy I've been waiting for all my life - as I'm sure you have. It's purply-grey, extra-matte, velvety in texture and super easy to apply. If you can find someone who'll want to kiss your high fashion concrete colour lips, I guarantee it will not rub off at all. The range is 12 shades and they are all to die for - if you're ever in Poland, buy them in bulk, as these bad boys are cheap, sweet and better than Mac (!). PS: It looks stunning with slightly tanned, glowing skin and copper eyeshadow ;)

I did not get a chance to go on your typical 'palms-beach-all-you-can-eat-ice-cream' holiday this year, but this cute roller sample of Lola's Apothecary lavender oil has kept my body closer to Croatia then I could have ever dreamed without actually travelling there. It's a handy little bottle that you can keep next to your bed and smooth onto your palms, neck or wrists to help you dream of wild beaches and cicadas. Worth a try!

Last but certainly not least, is an accessory I am so amazed by, is now essential to my daily life (even though I was slightly sceptical at first, asking why on earth would anyone pay that much for a hair band!?). Invisibobble doesn't tear your hair out in chunks, looks sleek and most importantly, doesn't leave that awkward bump in your hair when you put it up in a messy bun, but creates lovely loose waves that will make any of you the queen of bed head. Discovery of the season for me, definitely.

Hope you enjoyed my little collection of favourites. Anything you have been loving throughout the summer and still can't stop using?
