OOTD: Casual in Birmingham

I'm wearing:

Coat - thrifted (Topshop)

Shirt - thrifted (H&M)

Jeans - H&M

Boots - Office

Satchel bag - leather goods shop

Two weeks ago I made my first ever trip to Birmingham (the airport does not count!) to visit my Bestie, who works there. We did quite a run around the city, which I immediately fell in love with - it is much more vibrant and lively than Leicester, reminding me of London a bit I guess (especially Bull Ring with all the shops and a Charlotte Tilbury counter *drooling*).

No more digressing - here is the outfit I put together. 

I wanted to be comfortable, knowing I would be on my feet all day. The coat is my every year's transition piece, as it's the ultimate inbetween - not too thin, not too warm. Underneath I wore this khaki chiffon shirt, whose beauty can't really be captured on photos. It flows beautifully, skims over the hips a little bit and the colour…mmmm. Jeans are just dark wash ones with rips in the knees and on my feet I wore these low heeled booties from Office, which I did regret by the end of the day ;)
