Collective beauty haul!

Hello makeup lovers!

After a long break there is nothing better than beauty shopping, am I right? These makeup bits were purchased quite some time ago, but thanks to that my opinion is more accurate now, as I had the chance to properly try all of them out. There are some products fighting to become new holy grails, but also  some sad dissapointments. Nonetheless, I hope you'll enjoy it and maybe find something new for yourself to try out! :)

(PS: can you see the color scheme? I am subconsciously obsessed with pink!)

First of all, the most talked about mascara of last few months- Benefit's Roller Lash. As soon as it came out in sample form with Elle, I had to have it and see if it's worth the hype. I would say the formula is pretty much the same as They're Real- it is jet black and no human power can take it off your lashes; it doesn't smudge, budge nor crumbles either, which is something I always look for in mascaras. The only difference is the brush, which gives your lashes a beautiful lift and curl that lasts all day! For every girl that picks curl over volume, I can't recommend this enough.

I wouldn't forgive myself, if I hadn't mentioned one of Tanya Burr's lip glosses. I'm definitely a more matte lipstick kinda girl, but I had to have something with Tanya's name on it. Surprisingly, I have been using it a lot! The shade is beautiful (mine is in Chic), it wears off in a non-disgusting way, has a yummy smell and goes with every makeup- whether it is just everyday liner, or a nighttime smokey eye. It has become a staple in my makeup collection and opened my eyes, or should I say lips, to glossy finish. Thank you Tan! xx

Now, my first ever Topshop makeup product- the Molten Eyes eye crayon in Lilac Rain. I found it in reduced basket for only 1 quid and thought I would give it a try. The formula is absolutely amazing- once you put it on, it stays on forever. You can wear it on it's own or apply some shadow on top, it will look lovely. What I'm not that happy with is the color- it made me look a bit tired and weird, light purples are clearly not for me. I'm gonna look out for more wearable shades though, cause the product itself is brilliant!

Very much awaited purchase- my first Real Techniques brushes! I went for the Retractable Lip Brush, as I use these religiously and my previous one disappeared. I swear by it now, as it is stiff and small enough to draw on my lips precisely, as well as it is easy to shove into my bag without smudging a red lipstick all over the inside of it (it comes with a protective cap). The other one is the famous Expert Face Brush, which I cannot stand for foundation, but have found a different purpose for- I use it to blend my cream contour. It has a perfect shape for my cheekbones and blends the product seamlessly. Can't wait to try out more brushes by the gorgeous Pixiwoo sisters.

The last two product come from affordable British brands that I haven't tried before- one of which I am amazed by, the other not as much. The Beauty UK Ultimate Contour Palette I purchased after Pixiwoo's recommendation, as I've been on a hunt for a cheap cream contour for bloody ages. I'm not keen on the highlighter, as the Kardashian contouring is not my thing, however the cool brown shade is amazing- I contour my cheekbones, temples and nose with it- it is easily blendable and stays on my face  all day- for 4,99 you can't really go wrong!

The Elysium Palette by MUA tempted me with the beautiful Naked 3 kinda colors and the price (6 pounds in Superdrug) but the pay off and pigmentation of the shadows isn't as great as Sleek's. Especially with the glitters I have noticed a massive fall down, where I would end up with a shimmery face and almost nothing on my eyes. I'm sadly not gonna go back to MUA for eye shadow and will stick to Sleek. I heard great things about Makeup Revolution though, might try them out next:)

That is it for today guys, hope you liked my mini-reviews and perhaps got inspired to broaden your own makeup collections!

Kisses,
