Happy New Year everybody!

It is probably way too late to be posting a Xmas related blog post but I have some things to show you, so I just though sod it, I'll put it here anyway. At least it's not February yet, I'm not that bad after all.

This collection of things has been given to be by my parents mostly but I also bought a couple of things myself as a bit of a treat or purely because I needed it.

I would not be myself if I hadn't started with a MAC lipstick that I got in the duty free on my way home. I don't know if it was the tiredness caused by waiting 7 hours for my flight or a bit of extra cash burning in my bag but I just had to buy something nice, and Ruby Woo in the retro matte finish seemed like a perfect choice, especially due to the coming up Christmas season. It is super pigmented and has a lovely blue undertone that makes your teeth extra white, but it needs a lot of care and patience, as it is rock hard and ultra matte. But well, if Paloma Faith wears it, I just had to have it. It is such a classic.

I won't go into to much detail about all of the products but I want to talk a bit about those cleansers and face creams as they have been working wonders for my skin. The Ziaja exfoliator with manuka leaves has been helping to maintain fresh and clean face, with no clogged pores and all the other disgusting stuff. I use it mainly at night after a day of wearing full makeup face. However, it can be harsh on your skin especially if you have dry complexion like I do- that is why I only use it once or twice a week. For an everyday deep cleanse I use the Clean&Clear toner, which gets rid of all the dirt and leftover makeup my micellar water misses. It makes my face super smooth and ready to bed:)

The Vichy Aqualia has been my most used everyday face cream, as it is light but it locks the moisture in your skin throughout the whole day. I haven't seen my dry patches in weeks and I can enjoy a flawless makeup every single morning, and as this cream is not greasy, my makeup stays like that all day long. At night I reach for Hydraphase Intense, which is slightly thicker but doesn't leave any oils on my face. I no longer have to wake up to a totally oily or parchment dry skin- this baby is perfect in keeping the balance.

Lat but not least, I need to mention the true  indulgement products, that make me smell really nice and you probably less bored with this haul. Sephora chocolate butter has been as absolute must during these winter months- the consistency is thick enough but easy to spread on the body and the scent reminds me of Chocapic cereal. It's just amazing! Finally, the most British, womanly perfume ever- Burberry the Body. Although the bottle's shape is..funny, it still looks extremely luxurious and elegant. The scent itself makes me feel so much more grown up but it is not overwhelmingly sexy- it can be worn day or night. It is definitely the best choice if you want to feel like the best woman on Earth. And who doesn't?

That is it for this forgotten Xmas haul, I hope you enjoyed it and maybe tried out some of the products- I would love to hear what you think of them!

Love,
